When this is the case for the business you’re analyzing, you’ll likely notice a higher level of accompanying debt, and a lower level of cash-on-hand. Your inventory turnover ratio will show you how many times your company has sold and replaced inventory in a given period. Calculating the OC with the data provided above: Inventory Turnover: 8,500,000 / 2,900,000 2.931 Inventory. Therefore, the detailed formula for OC is: Sample Calculation. Where the formula for Receivables Turnover is: Receivables Turnover Credit Sales / Average Accounts Receivable. This can often result in lost sales, as customers look elsewhere to have their orders filled in a timelier manner. Accounts Receivable Period 365 / Receivables Turnover. Sometimes when a company’s inventory ratio is attractively high, for example, it can simply mean that the firm doesn’t have the financial wherewithal to keep its merchandise consistently stocked at a realistic level. You may be wondering why I use accounting information for this formula instead of. Inventory turnover is the measurement of the number of times a businesss inventory is sold throughout a month, a quarter, or (most commonly) a year of trading. Let’s use the cost on the screen as our end of year value and calculate our inventory turns for the year in question. This indicates that the overall management of the flow of goods through the business is relatively streamlined, and that the company doesn’t have a lot of stagnant and unavailable funds sitting around in the form of unsold merchandise.īut an elevated turnover ratio is not necessarily a good thing in every situation, and you should always investigate your results in combination with other factors, regardless of the outcome. We then add up the inventory cost of all of our items to get the total cost of our inventory. Inventory control refers to how a business manages the stock currently in storage. Without an inventory management system, it wont be easy to manage inventory, manage suppliers, production lines, and more. When the ratio value is high, it means that a company’s inventory is being bought or manufactured, and sold off, quickly and efficiently. Inventory management encompasses your supply chain, fulfilment, manufacturing, and sales. So what is a good inventory turnover ratio?Ī higher inventory ratio value is usually viewed as a more positive outcome.

Non reactivity of kaolinite clay1/7/2024 MUCH EFFORT WILL BE DEVOTED TO THE PREDICTION OF DIFFERENT TYPES OF GRAIN-COATING CLAYS IN RESERVOIR SANDSTONES, THUS POTENTIAL PRODUCTION PROBLEMS MIGHT BE ANTICIPATED. NEW DRILLING AND PRODUCTION PROCEDURE DESIGN WILL THEN FOLLOW, WHICH WILL MINIMIZE CLAY-DEPENDENT DAMAGE. FLOW EXPERIMENTS WILL BE CONDUCTED IN A POURPOSEDLY DESIGNED CELL ON VARIOUS ORIGINAL SANDSTONE CORE SAMPLES TO GAIN INFORMATION AS TO EXTENT OF PERMEABILITY MODIFICATIONS ARISING FROM CLAY REACTION AS WELL AS TO ITS CONSEQUENCIES. GEL FORMATION INTO THE ROCK PORES, DUE TO PRECIPITATION OF PREVIOUSLY DISSOLVED FE, AL AND SI, WILL ALSO BE EXAMINED BOTH OUTSIDE THE POROUS MEDIUM AND WITHIN IT. ON SELECTED MINERAL/SOLUTE PAIRS KINETIC MEASUREMENTS WILL BE CONDUCTED UNDER VARIOUS TEMPERATURES, MINERAL SURFACE AREA, REACTANT CONCENTRATION AND SOLUTION/SOLID VOLUME RATIO IN ORDER TO PERMIT THE PREDICTION OF THE TIME SCALE AND SPATIAL EXTENT OF DAMAGE IN ACTUAL WELL TREATMENTS. TWO KINDS OF EXPERIMENTS ARE DEVISED SO AS TO ALLOW CLAY STRUCTURAL CHANGES (E G MODIFIED SWELLING BEHAVIOUR) AS WELL AS SOLUTION VARIATIONS TO BE STUDIED ONE AT THE TIME. SFTER CHARACTERIZATION BY XRD AND SEM THEY WILL BE SUBMITTED TO TREATMENT WITH AQUEOUS SOLUTIONS OF EACH OF THE ENVISAGED FLUID COMPONENTS (NAOH, HCL, KCL, CITRIC ACID, EDTA). 15 TO 20 POSSIBLY MONOMONERALLIC CLAYS FROM THE KAOLINITE, SMECTITE, ILLITE AND CHLORITE GROUPS AS WELL AS FROM " INTERSTRATIFIED " CHLORITE/VERMICULITE, CHLORITE/SMECTITE AND ILLITE/SMECTITE FAMILIES WILL BE COLLECTED, MAINLY BY SUITABLE TREATMENT OF CORES AVAILABLE FROM VARIOUS SOURCES SO AS TO BE TRULY REPRESENTATIVE. A MANY STEP STUDY IS PROPOSED TO SHED LIGHT IN THE INVOLVED PHENOMENA. THE REACTIONS OF ACTUAL OR POTENTIAL COMPONENTS OF FLUIDS USED IN DRILLING AND PRODUCTION OPERATIONS WITH CLAY MINERALS WHICH OCCUR AS GRAIN COATINGS IN OIL RESERVOIRS GIVE RISE TO IMPORTANT ROCK PERMEABILITY MODIFICATIONS WITH CONSEQUENCES IN OIL RECOVERY EFFICIENCY. The nature of illitic reservoirs is such (major permeability problems) that any damage is serious. The findings indicated that illitic reservoirs in general are less susceptible to chemical damage than most others. Overall, illites were the least reactive of the clays. Dissolution was more or less stoichiome tric in acid solutions but alkalis peferentially leach silicon. Smectite (dioctahedral) was rather more acid sensitive than either illite or illite smectite (IS) clays although both illites and IS clays were rather more sensitive to acids than to alkalis. All acid treatments are potentially damaging where chlorites are concerned. Flow experiments confirm great reactivity. In acid solutions aluminium is preferentially dissolved (nonstoichiometric dissolution) which means that a potentially reactive silica rich residue must remain. Data demonstrated more than 40% dissolution after only 2 days at 80 C. Batch experiments demonstrated the extreme reactivity of chlorites: greatly so in acids but also in alkaline solutions. Partial dissolution of kaolinite will tend to dislodge pore lining material and exacerbate fines migration and dilution or modification of fluids within the reservoir might lead to precipitation of gels or authigenic crystalline precipitates thus exacerbating reservoir scaling problems. Hence, high alkalinity water based drilling muds (WBM) and alkaline slugs used in some enhanced oil recovery (EOR) procedures will both selectively dissolve kaolinite and add silicon and aluminium solutes to pore fluids. Flow experiments confirmed that kaolinite is particularly reactive in alkaline solutions and moreso than other clays. Congruent dissolution was observed substantial solution concentrations of silicon hydroxide ions and aluminium hydroxide ions were indicated. Kaolinite proved to be very soluble in alkali runs. Chemical reactions between large range of naturally occurring reservoir clays and an equally wide range of actual (or potential) components of fluids used in drilling and production operations were evaluated and the type of formation damage most likely to occur as a result of specific chemical reactions was documented in order to develop a series of guidelines which can be used in the design of drilling and production procedures for use in specific reservoirs. THE AIM OF THIS PROJECT IS TO DEVELOP A SERIES OF GUIDELINES WHICH CAN BE USED IN DESIGNING PRODUCTION PROCEDURES FOR USE IN SPECIFIC RESERVOIRS IN ORDER TO MINIMIZE FORMATION DAMAGE DUE TO CLAY REACTIONS WITH THE FLUIDS USED IN TERTIARY OIL PRODUCTION.

Subnautica xbox one version1/6/2024 It’s mostly because I’m much better on the console relatively, whereas on PC you play against people that are much more competitive and have god tier aiming. Anything that has a visual appeal, isn’t competitive, or really just isn’t a first person shooter. I like PC for games like subnautica or stardew valley. I personally like the analogue on controllers much more for first person shooters. I play both and will continue to support both. I had just built a Cyclops and now it's gone. Sorry about the rant, but I just lost three hours of progress and I'm feeling really frustrated and disheartened. The lag and the loading times are still bearable somewhat. It's really hard to play the game when the map doesn't load and your games don't save. I love this game to death, but throw me a bone here guys. From what I've read this issue has been present since the early builds, and they still haven't gotten around to fix it? What the fuck?!Īll these issues combined make it a real pain to play Subnautica on Xbox. Indie Dev's or not, great game or not, this is absolutely unacceptable in any fully released game. If you accidentally forget and continue on thinking it's just a chasm, you clip into the map and take damage, and can't come out.ģ) Incredibly long loading and saving times, sometimes reaching 5 or 6 minutes.Ĥ) THE GAME FLAT OUT DOESNT SAVE AT TIMES. After playing for a while though, I've come to realise what a terrible job they've done porting the game to console.ġ) Major lag, multiple freezes, some whole biomes run at an unplayable framerateĢ)Major pop-in issues, large parts of the map don't load at times, and you need to wait almost a minute for the large blank space you're staring at to suddenly turn into the grand reef. Game is amazing, I love all the new updates and stuff they've added over the years. Unknown Worlds is, of course, also currently developing turn-based strategy game Moonbreaker alongside the next Subnautica, which Eurogamer's Robert Purchese quite liked when he played it in early access at the end of last year.As some of you may know, Subnautica came out on Xbox Game Pass recently, and I thought I'd give it a try since it was one of my favorite games from back in early access. Other games on Krafton's slate of releases include PUBG Studio's extraction shooter Project Black Budget, which is coming to PC and consoles in the second half of next year, and Project Goldrush - an "action-adventure sandbox" from Vector North that's expected to launch in the first half of 2025. Will it see players returning to the ocean planet of 4546B for a third time? It could be a while before we find out more. Krafton confirms the "Next Subnautica", which probably won't be its final name, is still being developed by Unknown Worlds - the studio was acquired by Krafton at the tail-end of 2021 - and that it'll be launching for PC and consoles. Subnautica: Below Zero, the most recent game in the series, launched in 2021. It's set to launch in "1H25" - the first half of 2025 - but, beyond that, details are limited. Official word that a new Subnautica game was on the way first surfaced in April last year, when developer Unknown Worlds - the studio behind the series' original 2018 entry and its 2021 follow-up Subnautica: Below Zero - announced it was seeking a senior narrative designer to "help shape the next game in the Subnautica universe".Īnd now, a little over 18 months later, the new Subnautica has made an appearance in publisher Krafton's slate of upcoming releases, as shared via the deeply unsexy means of financial report slide presentation (thanks Rock Paper Shotgun). If your life has been upsettingly devoid of underwater terror since polishing off Subnautica: Below Zero, a glimmer of nautical promise is on the (distant) horizon, with publisher Krafton confirming it expects the ocean survival series' next instalment to arrive in the first half of 2025.

The Hershey Company made Almond Joy in Naugatuck, Connecticut, for nearly 20 years before moving the manufacturing operation to a more modern plant in Stuarts Draft, Virginia in 2007. The name "Almond Joy" was selected by Peter Paul employee Anna Z. In 1988, Hershey's purchased the United States rights to their chocolate business for $300 million, which included the Mounds, Almond Joy, and York Peppermint Pattie brands, in addition to Cadbury-only products such as Dairy Milk and Caramello. In 1978, Peter Paul merged with the Cadbury-Schweppes company of England. The Almond Joy bar was introduced in 1946 as a replacement for the Dreams Bar, which was introduced in 1934, consisting of diced almonds and coconut covered with dark chocolate. military during World War II, who by 1944 purchased 80% of their production for use in rations (5 million bars/month). The Mounds bar became a hit with the U.S. In 1929, the company acquired the Mounds bar candy line from West Haven, Connecticut, candy maker Vincent Nitido. The Peter Paul Candy Manufacturing Company was founded by six Armenian immigrants including Peter Paul Halajian and Max Freedman in 1919.
